Unsere neue Massehalle

The Schlierstadt factory of the Odenwälder Kunststoffwerke GmbH was founded in 1963 for the production of technical parts made of plastic.

Innovations and the constant modernisation of the factory have given birth to a high-performance production plant. Since 1998, the factory has been run as an independent enterprise under the name Bauländer Kunststoffwerk GmbH.

  • 1960 - Founding of the branch operation on the premises of the Raiffeisen Genossenschaftsbank in Schlierstadt
  • 1963 - Construction of the new branch factory OKW Schlierstadt. Reworking and processing of Duroplast parts in Buchen
  • 1972 - first extension of the building for producing Duroplast parts. Employment level approx. 35 persons. After 1972 expansion of production through injection moulding machinery
  • 1988 - Expansion of the Thermoplast processing, using technically high-quality, recyclable types of plastic
  • 1997 - Decision to become independent
  • 1998 - Start-up of production as independent company Bauländer Kunststoffwerk GmbH - Introduction of the PPS - System SAP-R3
  • 1999 - Initial orders from the automotive sector
  • 2001 - Expansion of the office and assembly buildings
  • 2002 - Certification according to DIN EN 9001
  • 2006 - Certification according to ISO/TS 16949:2002
  • 2008 - Construction of new warehouse

The construction of the new buildings and the investments underline the company's ties and commitment to the region.
